Formula 1 heads to Turkey for the next round after a surprising rainy Russian Grand Prix which saw Lewis Hamilton on top. Meanwhile, Max Verstappen clinched the second position after starting from the back of the grid.

McLaren driver Lando Norris was leading the Russian Grand Prix for the majority part but last-minute rain spoiled everything. Despite leading most of the laps, Norris displayed an error of judgment and did not switch to inters. On the other hand, Lewis Hamilton used all of his experience and made the crucial pitstop with 5 laps to go.

Subsequently, Norris’s McLaren was not able to cope up with the rain-soaked Sochi Autodrom Circuit and slipped at a crucial time. Lewis Hamilton took over the charge of the Russian Grand Prix and finished the race in style. Meanwhile, he also became the first driver in the history of Formula 1 to win 100 Grand Prix’s.
