Although most of the teams are still yet to reveal any details about their new kits, some few clubs have already went out to release their new kits for the new season.
Given below are some Premier League teams, which have already released their kits ahead of new 2023/24 season.
Arsenal home kit
The Gunners have released a new home kit for the 2023/24 season, which celebrates the 20th anniversary of their legendary Invincibles team of 2003/04. The new kit features the badge, the Adidas logo, and the three stripes down each sleeve all in gold. The authentic version of the kit also features the record of 26 wins and 12 draws from that season stitched into the side.
While releasing the new kit, Arsenal stated:
Twenty years on from that incredible achievement, we aim to carry forward the values, spirit and togetherness of the 2003/04 squad.”
Crystal Palace home kit
Similar to Arsenal Crystal Palace also released a new shirt to celebrate an anniversary. Their celebrations are however, for a much different reason. Palace released their new kits to mark the 10th anniversary of the club’s promotion into the Premier League.
The new kit features red and blue halves symbolising the design that they used during the 2013/14 season. Meanwhile, the subtle background features a silhouette of the original Crystal Palace, where the club was initially founded in 1861, and played in from 1862.
Liverpool home kit
Liverpool have also released a kit design, which serves as a homage to Bill Shankly. The former manager took charge of his final season as the Liverpool’s manager 50 years ago.
While releasing the new kit, Liverpool stated:
An iconic kit reimagined, it’s a classic design in bright Liverpool red with white contrast collar and cuffs inspired by Shankly’s 1973-74 squad of FA Cup winners.”
Both the authentic and replica kits are made using 100% recycled polyester fabric. The material is constructed using recycled plastic bottles.
Manchester City home kit
Premier League champions Manchester City have also release new home kits to celebrate the 20th anniversary of their move to their current stadium, the Etihad Stadium from Maine Road.
The new home kit features stripes on the front of the shirt, inspired by the four turrets outside of the stadium. The shirt also features the postcode of the ground displayed on the back area. Meanwhile, the white V-neck collar get its influence from the 2003/04 kit. This was the very first kit used at the stadium.
