2023 French Open schedule, date, venue, fixtures, & first-round draw

At the 2023 French Open, only three Indian shuttlers will participate in the men’s singles event after HS Prannoy decided to withdraw due to injury. It is confirmed that youngster Priyanshu Rajawat will begin his campaign with a first-round tie against in-form Malaysian star Ng Tze Yong. Meanwhile, Kidambi Srikanth will play against French ace Toma Junior Popov with a place in the second-round at stake.

In the women’s singles category, PV Sindhu will attempt to begin her title quest on high-note by defeating seventh-seed Gregoria Mariska Tunjung in the first-round. Unfortunately, no Indian shuttler will be representing the country in the women’s doubles event or the mixed doubles event. However, Indian fans are optimistic about winning chances of the third-seed men’s doubles duo Satwik & Chirag, who will start their quest with a first-round tie versus Lucas & Ronan.
