According to Fabrizio Romano of The Guardian, Franck Kessie will play for Barcelona next season after signing a four-year contract with the Spanish giants, know his salary
The contract of the Ivorian with the Italian club is set to expire at the conclusion of the season.
After turning down numerous contract offers, the midfielder is set to become a free agency this summer. Kessie is free to negotiate a summer move with possible suitors.

Due to the end of his contract with AC Milan, the midfielder was available on a free transfer this summer. Kessie will allegedly earn €6.5 million per year before add-ons at Barcelona, and he has already passed his medical. Born on 19 December 1996, he is aged 25 years and his agent George Atangana wanted him out of Italy to see him secure the deal at Barcelona till 2026.
The defensive midfielder has a FIFA 22 rating of 84 and potential of 86.
Career So Far
In 2017, Kessie joined the Rossoneri for a cost of roughly €28 million. This season, the 25-year-old has made 23 Serie A appearances, scoring five goals while mopping up behind Milan’s attackers. After the Ivory Coast failed to qualify for the World Cup in Qatar, he will not be there later this year.
Franck Kessie joined AC Milan permanently in the summer of 2019 after spending two seasons on loan with Atalanta. Last season, he had a breakout season, scoring 14 goals in 50 appearances for the team.
For the first time in five years, Kessie helped AC Milan finish second in Serie A and qualify for the Champions League. This season, the 25-year-old has continued to impress for Stefano Pioli’s side, scoring six goals and giving one assist in 29 appearances.

Salary And Contract
Franck Kessié has joined as a new Barcelona player till June 2026, following a verbal agreement struck days earlier. He enters as a free agent from AC Milan.
Kessié will be paid a net salary of €6.5 million plus bonuses. The medical examination has already been performed.
Kessie To Replace Busquets At Barcelona
Franck Kessie is largely regarded as one of Serie A’s top defensive midfielders. The Blaugrana see the 25-year-old as a long-term replacement for Sergio Busquets, their senior midfielder.
In all competitions, Busquets has made 668 appearances for the Spanish giants. During his stay at the club, he has helped the team win eight La Liga crowns, seven Copa del Rey trophies, and three Champions League trophies.
This season, the Spaniard has been a key element of the Blaugrana’s starting lineup, appearing in 39 games for the team. The 33-year-old, on the other hand, is nearing the end of his career. He has not been able to regularly provide for his club.
