Goal-keeper

Sam Johnstone ( Crystal Palace – £4.5m) conceded another 2 goals in his last match and has failed to add a clean sheet ever since the opening game which could lead to a stronger mindset as they face Fulham in gameweek 5.

Defenders

Jordan Beyer ( Burnley – £4.0m) faced the brutal punishment caused by Spurs in the last week conceding 5 goals which can be tested to the limit as they will up against Nottingham Forrest.

Gabriel Magalhães ( Arsenal – £4.8m) played his first full-length match of the series and proved to work as a wall in front of his goal which could push him to add clean sheets as they face Everton.

Pervis Estupiñán ( Brighton – £5.3 m) is proving to be an impressive asset with his head-on approach against every defense which could help him regain his attacking playing style in the match against Manchester United.

Midfielders

Rodrigo ( Manchester City – £5.7m) has become one of the most crucial players for Pep Guardiola in recent times while he was not at his best in the last match he certainly holds the playmaking capabilities to add attacking contributions.

Gabriel Martinelli ( Arsenal – £7.9m) managed to work well for the team in the last match after pushing for a crucial assist in the dying minutes to cement the fighting spirit that can help him add more attacking chances in the upcoming matches.

Kaoru Mitoma ( Brighton – £6.5m) added another assist to his name in the last match against Newcastle United which could only motivate him further to continue with his improving form.

Mohamed Salah ( Liverpool- £12.5m) is a valuable and consistent asset for FPL managers during this time with consistent attacking strides that have earned him 2 goals and 2 assists in the last 4 matches.

Bukayo Saka ( Arsenal- £8.7m) was also able to present his fighting spirit in the rivalry match against Manchester United to turn the game on its head which could raise confidence levels.

Forwards

Erling Haaland (Manchester City – £14.1m) doubled his goal count with his first hat trick of the season to take his total to 6 goals and 1 assist in the last 4 matches which makes him our prime choice.

Darwin Nunez ( Liverpool – £7.3m) has been working well in the last 2 games with 2 goals and 2 assists that could only push him further to maintain consistency with his current game time this season.

Substitutes

Alphonse Areola ( West Ham United – £4.1m) has made consistent saves but has failed miserably when it comes to adding a clean sheet which should keep him on the bench as they face Manchester City.

Sven Botman ( Newcastle United – £4.5m) is deemed injured and is likely to appear for a few games.

Yoane Wissa ( Brentford – £6.2 m) was brilliant in the initial games but has now stopped finding attacking chances resulting in him being on the bench against Newcastle United.

Issa Kaboré ( Luton – £4.0m) will be on the bench as they face Fulham which could push them to change their approach as a win could raise morale.
