The new update takes inspiration from Japanese Yokai folklore and it will introduce the ‘Yokai Nightmare Event’.
For Honor: Year 6 Season 3, The Demon Dagger New Event And Features
For Honor: Year 6 Season 3 (Y6S3) will introduce the Yokai Nightmare Event, as well as a new Battle Pass and Battle Bundle.
Besides that, it will also bring back Testing Grounds, focusing on Valkyrie and Tiandi until September 22. Following which, there will be a Phase 2 featuring a cross-platform play launch later in the Season.

The Yokai Nightmare Event
The Yokai Nightmare event, which will run from September 15 to September 29, will put a unique twist on For Honor’s classic Dominion mode.
Players will battle it out on the Temple Garden with Yokai-inspired updates to the art and ambiance of the map.
Throughout the event, players will be able to loot seasonal weapons and get to unlock free rewards. Players also have a chance to win 100 tiers of themed rewards from the new Battle Pass.
Cross-play Feature
Phase two of For Honor: Y6S3, The Demon Dagger will feature a cross-play option. The new update will allow group play with cross-platform friends.
This means that players can invite anyone regardless of which platform they’re playing on.
Release Date
Ubisoft has officially confirmed the For Honors: Y6S3 Demon Dagger season release date as September 15.
As for the release time, Ubisoft will probably drop the new content around 00:01 AM local time.
