Recap of Chapter 23 of Flowers Of Worship
Seven years have passed since Cylia was ordered to kill Lichtlein the dragon as retribution for hurting Ethan Gosling. Cylia took responsibility even though she wasn’t at fault, and as a result, she is now getting near to achieving her end goal. Cylia persevered despite everything in the hopes of one day being reunited with Ethan. As a result, she has now arrived at the dragon’s lair.
When Lichtlein emerges from the dust and inquires as to who had the audacity to disturb him, all the soldiers advance to repel the monsters. As Lichtlein gets ready to attack them with dragon breath as retribution for entering his lair, all the soldiers become terrified and flee.
Cylia takes the initiative and orders everyone to retreat. She cuts through his fire and sprints towards Lichtlein, fast approaching his mouth. As he thinks it’s a stupid move on her part, Lichtlein yells at her, but Cylia quickly slices through his head and passes through. Then Cylia gives the order to clear the lair and keep an eye out for additional monsters.
