The Spanish women’s hockey team landed in India on Tuesday for a two-legged FIH Pro League match on February 26 and 27. Spain lost their first game of the tournament at home to the Netherlands with a score of 0-1.
They were able to force their second game against the Dutch to a shootout after a 2-2 deadlock. However, Spaniards unfortunately lost the shootout.
On January 31 and February 1, the Indians, who were playing in the elite division for the first time, won both of their matches against China with a score of 7-1 and 2-1 respectively in Oman.
