On Friday, India Men’s began their FIH Pro League hockey 2022-23 title quest with a come-back win against New Zealand, we take a look at schedule, date, time, venue, & streaming details of upcoming fourth season
With the help of a brace from Mandeep Singh, hosts India defeated New Zealand 4-3 to kick off the 2022–23 FIH Hockey Pro League season. Following this victory, India sit at top of standings with Spain scheduled to be their next opponent on Sunday.

Men’s FIH Pro League India vs New Zealand Results, Score, Winner, & Upcoming Schedule
India completed an incredible comeback to go from 1-3 behind to win 4-3 in an incredibly interesting game. Mandeep Singh scored two goals in the final ten minutes of the third quarter to give India a narrow but thrilling victory despite being down to 10 players. After India scored a field goal in the last seconds of the first quarter from Mandeep Mor, New Zealand got the game back on track in the 23rd minute via a penalty stroke.
With their forwards completing string of circle penetrations, the visitors maintained their dominance in the opening period. Hence in the third quarter, New Zealand added two more goals to make score 3-1. India went into the final period behind by one goal before captain Harmanpreet Singh pulled one back for the hosts. The fourth quarter was Mandeep Singh’s time, as he scored twice to help India win the opening game of the FIH Hockey Pro League.
At Kalinga Stadium on Saturday, New Zealand will play host to Spain as they continue their campaign, while on Sunday, India will play host to Spain.
2022–23 Men’s FIH Pro League List of Teams, Standings & Point Table
This prestigious competition will run from October through July and will feature nine participating teams play in round-robin format featuring home and away games. At the end of season, team with highest points will be crowned as champion and bottom-placed team will be relegated to FIH Nations league.
