The Indian men’s hockey team’s FIH Pro League 2022–23 away leg will start in London with matches against Olympic champions Belgium and the venue’s Great Britain.

Fourth ranked in the world, India is currently tops the FIH Pro League 2022–23 points standings with 19 points after eight games. India has played all of their games at home so far.
India will take on Belgium on Friday in their first FIH Pro League 2022–23 game outside of the country. On their tour to Europe, India will play in eight games, including four in London and four more in Eindhoven. India will play Great Britain on Saturday after their opening encounter against Belgium on Friday. The FIH Pro League matches will be streamed live in India.
The team led by Harmanpreet Singh will next play its second game against Belgium on June 2 before wrapping off their away leg against Great Britain on June 3. This follows a five-day break.
No. 2 in the world Belgium has just six points, placing them sixth in the standings. The finalists for the FIH World Cup 2022 have only competed in four league games thus far. With 19 points from 8 games, Great Britain is in second place and only trails India on the basis of more victories (5 vs. 4).
In Eindhoven, India will play their final two matches against Argentina (June 8 and 11) and the Netherlands (June 7 and 10).
India, under by new South African main coach Craig Fulton, defeated Germany twice, 3-2 and 6-3, in their final round of FIH Pro League 2022–23 games in Rourkela back in March. India won 5-4 over Commonwealth Games winners Australia before defeating Australia 4-3 in a shootout in their most recent match.
Indian captain Harmanpreet Singh has held the lead throughout the season with 11 goals. He now has the most points in the FIH Pro League 2022–23.
The 24-person Indian men’s hockey team that has been announced for the European round of the competition includes both Manpreet Singh, who will be seen in a new role, and veteran goalkeeper PR Sreejesh. The midfield’s centre position will be filled by vice-captain Hardik Singh.
