The Men’s Hockey World Cup 2023 is scheduled to begin on January 13 and conclude on January 29.
Teams Participating in the 2023 FIH Men’s Hockey World Cup
The 2022 Men’s Hockey World Cup will feature 16 teams from five confederations. In total, 44 games will be played at the 15th Men’s Hockey World Cup at the two locations in Odisha. Belgium is the current global champion, having won their first world cup title in 2018 after defeating the Netherlands in the final.
Teams: Australia, South Africa, Argentina, France, Japan, Korea, Belgium, Germany, Chile, Malaysia, the Netherlands, New Zealand, England, Wales, India, and Spain
Venue: The competition will be hosted in Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar and the newly constructed Birsa Munda International Hockey Stadium in Rourkela, which has a capacity of 20,000 spectators.
