Between January 13 and 29, the games will take place at Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar and the brand-new Birsa Munda Stadium in Rourkela. Hockey fans, both men and women, rushed to the ticket counters as soon as they opened in the morning. But they were not able to get tickets to India’s games.
FIH Hockey World Cup 2023 Offline And Online Tickets Booking And Ticket Price List
The website where tickets are sold showed that passes for India’s games on January 13, 15, and 19 against Spain, England, and Wales are all sold out.
The tickets are currently available for matches on January 13 and 14 but for no India matches. The ticketing counter usually opens at 11am at the Reserve Police Line Ground near Gate no. 8 of the Kalinga Hockey Stadium.
The prices for the tickets range from Rs 100 to Rs 500. Some people came to the stadium to get a physical ticket after failing to get one online. The Men’s Hockey World Cup will be held for the 15th time. India is hosting the mega tournament for the second time. The first time was in 2018, when Belgium won.
Out of the 44 games, 24 will be played at the Kalinga Stadium, including the final. The other games will be played at the Birsa Munda Stadium.
Birsa Munda Stadium, which is the largest hockey stadium in the country, can hold up to 20,000 people, while the Bhubaneswar facility can only hold up to 15,000.
