Qatar has expressed its interest to organise the FIFA World Cup 2022 with full stadiums despite the COVID19 pandemic with tickets to be out soon

Qatar is the host of FIFA World Cup 2022 which will start in the month of November. Moreover, FIFA has already confirmed that the matches will be played in full stadiums with 100% seats availability. To ensure this, Qatar is trying its best to make sure the pandemic doesn’t affect the tournament.

FIFA World Cup is one of the most followed football tournaments across the world. Furthermore, FIFA wants to organize the tournament in a decent way and is trying its best to make this one also as popular as others.

Plans of The Qatar Government To Sell Tickets Ahead Of FIFA World Cup 2022

Currently, three stadiums are 90% complete including Lusail Stadium, and are expected to complete in the coming months. Furthermore, all the rest stadiums are complete and are ready to host matches. Also, 2021 Arab cup matches will be played here to make sure the functioning of these stadiums. The tournament will begin in the month of December 2021.

Coming to the FIFA World Cup, Qatar’s Prime Minister Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani quoted that they are planning to allow fans who are fully vaccinated. Moreover, they are in talks with several vaccination companies to supply the Vaccine.

Sheikh Khalid told that they are in talks with a company to buy 1 million vaccines. He added that they will ensure that fans coming from different countries are vaccinated before attending the matches. Currently, most of the vaccination requires two doses for complete vaccination, which is given after 2-3 months.

Currently, Qatar is providing Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna vaccines to its citizens. The gulf country requires more than 20 million vaccines to vaccinate half the population of its country. Also, it is possible that the vaccination is possible as more than one year is left. And, most of the European countries have started the vaccination process.

It will be interesting to see how Qatar makes the vaccination things possible and how FIFA will react to it.
