Australia and New Zealand will co-host the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023, which will run from July 20 to August 20 and include 32 nations vying for the coveted crown beginning in the group stage.

The 32 teams are split up into 8 groups of 4 teams, with each team playing the other teams in its group once in a round-robin format. To the knockout rounds will advance the top two teams at the end of the group stage.

The round of 16 in the knockout phase will be followed by the quarterfinals, semifinals, and final. After the 48 matches in the groups stages, which will end on August 3, the knockout phase will begin on August 5 and end on August 20 with the championship match.

A total of 64 games will be competed over the course of a month at 10 venues, six of which will be in Australia and four of which will be in New Zealand. New Zealand will host one semifinal, while Australia will host the other semifinal, the third-place playoff, and the championship game.

There will be eight groups formed from the 32 participating countries in the FIFA Women’s World Cup in 2023.
