FIFA Uncovered Netflix Documentary Release Date, Story, Cast And Where To Watch Online
On November 9, FIFA Uncovered will be available on the platform, a week before the competition starts in Qatar.
After accusations of bribery against members of FIFA’s executive committee, an FBI investigation into FIFA, and the need to move the competition to winter, there has been a lot of attention on Qatar’s successful bid for the World Cup. People have also been looking closely at the human rights and living conditions of migrant workers, and many are thought to have died while building facilities for the tournament.
For decades, FIFA united the globe through football. But behind the game, craftier schemes were at play. This documentary series traces the organisation's legacy, exploring the pageantry, power struggles and politics of hosting the World Cup.

Ventureland and Passion Pictures put together FIFA Uncovered. John Battsek (Searching for Sugar Man and Hillsborough), Miles Coleman, and Daniel Gordon were the producers. Gordon also directs. He and Battsek won a BAFTA for their documentary on Hillsbrough, which they made with Gordon.
Warner Bros. Discovery’s The Men Who Sold The World Cup which featured an interview with former FIFA president Sepp Blatter, was the first to look at the controversial history of FIFA. It looks like Blatter will also be a part of FIFA Uncovered.
