It was officially launched on April 1st, and it will be the official song to which we will dance during the 2022 FIFA World Cup season, which will be held in Qatar. The song’s title is Hayya Hayya (Better Together), and it was written by three artists from three continents: American r&b vocalist Trinidad Cardona, Nigerian Davido, and Qatari musician Aisha. By bringing together voices from the Americas, Africa, and the Middle East, FIFA Chief Commercial Officer Kay Madati remarked, “This song symbolises how music – and football – can connect the world.” The multi-song soundtrack will bring dedicated supporters closer to the spirit of the FIFA World Cup as part of FIFA’s new music strategy.
