FIFA 22 New Features: 4 Brand-New Skill Moves
Following are the four new skill moves FIFA 22 players will be able to perform, though there is no information as to how these moves will be pulled-off in the game. First Time Spin, Four Touch Skill, Scoop Turn Fake and Skill Bridge are the names of the moves. Details regarding the skill move level required for players to perform these new moves are also awaited.
A FIFA user on Twitter also tweeted a video of Real Madrid’s winger Vinicius Junior performing one of the moves in-game. Vinicius attempts to scoop the ball past the legs of an Atletico Madrid defender and then, he skips left and bypasses a second defender.

FIFA 22 Commentators: FIFA’s First Female Commentator Joins EA Sports
The two new commentators who will join the series are Stewart Robson and FIFA’s first female commentator Alex Scott. While Robson covers Italian football for BT Sport, Scott features mainly on BBC and Sky Sports. These two will join Derek Rae, who was the lead commentator for FIFA 21.
As a player Robson featured for Arsenal in six seasons and made eight appearances for England’s U21s. Meanwhile, Scott played a major role in the all-conquering Arsenal side of the 2000s and helped the Gunners win their first WSL Title in 2012.
Happy to finally share the news that I joined the FIFA family and will be commentating for #FIFA22! 🙌🏾🎮
This is a big moment for FIFA, for football and women and girls across the world.
It’s also a big moment for me personally and professionally.#FIFA22 pic.twitter.com/A1Lhozl7K6— Alex Scott MBE (@AlexScott) July 21, 2021
Apart from the use of advanced 11v11 motion capture, FIFA 22 has also improved tactical AI in both defense and attack. Two player interaction technology has also enhanced the aerial battles. Moreover, the two-touch ball animations are longer such that controlling the ball is more natural and fluid than ever before. Player humanization and off-the-ball player animations have also levelled up.
