In the last FIBA World Cup, team USA barely managed to enter the playoff brackets following an unimpressive performance in the friendly stages.
The team secured the seventh place after suffering losses against France in the first playoff game, and then against Serbia for the fifth place.

Heading into the competition, Steve Kerr, who is the coach of the Golden State Warriors will coach Team USA. Meanwhile, the Miami Heat’s Erik Spoelstra, Los Angeles Clippers’ Ty Lue, and Gonzaga’s Mark Few will serve as the assistant coaches.
The starting roster for the team will feature Anthony Edwards, Mikal Bridges, Brandon Ingram, Jaren Jackson Jr., and Jalen Brunson. Meanwhile, Austin Reaves, Walker Kessler, Bobby Portis, Tyrese Haliburton, Paolo Banchero, Josh Hart, and Cam Johnson will feature on the bench.
Just recently, team USA won against defending champs Spain during an exhibition match. Following the match, Kerr stated:

Bridges further stated that all of the coaches have been working relentlessly to bring out the best outcomes.

The Mall of Asia Arena in Manila, the capital of the Philippines, will host all the games for Group C.

The 2023 FIBA World Cup will begin with the first set of games on August 25. They are placed in Group C alongside New Zealand, Greece, and Jordan. The top two teams from this group will face the two top teams of Group D after the friendly matches. Given below is the full schedule for all of team USA’s games:
