It was a nail-biting finale, Australia defeated Lebanon just by two points difference 75-73. Australia quickly built their lead in the first half by holding Lebanon to 28 points. Wael Arakji once again displayed his brilliant performance and tried to recover the lead as close as one point, Ali Haider had one chance to shoot the victory point, but in the end, it went away to the Aussy’s side, permitting Australia to clinch their second Asia Cup title.
Australia has now won 12 matches in a row in Asia Cup. Despite the loss, it was one of the best performances from Lebanon since 2007s Asia Cup.

Arakji’s brilliant display of performance helped him score 28 points in the game, with 15 coming alone in the final Quarter. Araji’s had 7 rebounds and 5 assists as well.
Ali Haider’s performance was also top-notch, securing 23 points and 9 rebounds in the game.
On the other hand, Mitc McCarron provided Australi 12 points with 4 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals. Thon Maker also provided 14 points with 8 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals and 3 blocks to the winners.
