To determine which FIBA Asia-Oceania countries will automatically qualify to participate alongside automatically-qualified host Saudi Arabia at the 2025 FIBA Asia Cup, a basketball competition known as the 2025 FIBA Asia Cup qualification is being held.

Pre-qualifiers are competed on a sub-zone and regional basis, and the qualification process began in 2022. Eighteen teams from the 2023 FIBA World Cup Asian Qualifiers will join the sixteen teams who have already advanced to the qualifiers.

There will also be opportunities to qualify for the Qatar 2024 FIBA Basketball World Cup. Being the host of the World Cup, Qatar naturally qualifies.

As the men’s basketball teams throughout the continent are starting to prepare for the FIBA Asia Cup in 2025, here is when and where to watch the event.

When and where the FIBA Asia Cup 2025 Qualifiers will be held?

The selection process for the 16-team Asia Cup in Saudi Arabia next year will take place from February 22–26.

To choose which teams play at the 2025 FIBA Asia Cup, there will be three windows in total: February 2024, November 2024, and February 2025. Check out the full schedule for window 1 below:
