Barcelona’s latest summer acquisition Sergio Aguero has asked his representatives to look for a way out of the club following the departure of club captain Lionel Messi. He chose Barcelona because he wanted to play with Messi which is not going to be the case anymore.
Joan Laporta said in a special press conference that the financial fair play regulations of La Liga do not allow the club to register Messi and several other new signings. It is a shame that we have to witness the best player of all time walkout.

Despite having a full agreement with Messi a long time back, Barcelona cannot register him with La Liga because of which Messi will leave Barcelona. Meanwhile, Argentine forward Sergio Aguero has conveyed to his representatives to look for a loophole in the contract as he only joined the club to play alongside his compatriot.
He agreed to join the club at a lower salary than what he used to earn at City, taking a significant 74% pay cut to play with Messi. He will earn €6million per year under the new contract with Barcelona which expires 2 years later.
Sergio Aguero and Lionel Messi have been teammates for over a decade playing for the Argentine National team. Their friendship goes way back to the time of the Olympics where Argentina clinched the gold medal.
Transfer Woes at the Camp Nou
Due to the wage cap imposed by La Liga, every club has to regulate their money to comply with the Financial fair play regulations. However, Barcelona are currently in a difficult situation with club legend Lionel Messi leaving on a free transfer.
The situation will turn worse if Aguero opts to go otherwise following in the footsteps of Lionel Messi. Both the players share an excellent relationship and Messi played a big role in bringing the Argentine forward to the Camp Nou.
Lionel Messi is getting closer to a transfer to Paris-Saint Germain after City pulled out from the race following the arrival of Jack Grealish. It will be interesting to see where the best player of the world lands.
However, another worrisome problem for the club is even after Messi leaving the club, they are not able to register other new signings with La Liga because of the increasing wages at the club.
