Shahid Kapoor, a great Bollywood actor who is well-known for his power-packed appearances in Bollywood movies is getting ready to make his OTT debut with the forthcoming web series Farzi. He most recently appeared in the sports drama Jersey
The series began production in 2021, but Karan Johar, a Bollywood director, staged a special event at the JW Marriott in Mumbai in April 2022 when it was eormally revealed. In addition to Farzi, over 40 projects, including some new series and a further season of certain well-liked shows, were also announced during the event.

The new show also stars Tamil superstar Vijay Sethupathi in addition to Shahid Kapoor. He most recently appeared in the underwhelming box-office action-comedy DSP.
The series’ leading heroine is Raashii Khanna.
Apart from the leading cast, the series also features promising performers like Kay Kay Menon, Amol Palekar, Kubbra Sait, Regina Cassandra, Zakir Hussain, and Bhuvan Arora in crucial parts.
Crew of Farzi
The famed filmmaking duo Raj Nidimoru and Krishna D.K., commonly known as Raj & DK, who gained notoriety for producing and helming the wildly successful spy thriller series Family Man on Amazon Prime with Manoj Bajpayee in the lead role, will direct the web series.
Additionally, this project is supported by the D2R Films production team. The dialogues were written by Hussain Dalal and Raghav Dutt, whereas Sita R. and Sumar Kumar contributed to the writing.

Amazon Prime Video’s official Twitter account published the first shot of their new drama series Farzi on April 28, 2022. In the picture, Shahid is shown with a tough appearance while working on a serious project while seated on a chair in a room.
