On Monday, Warriors folk hero fake Klay Thompson was sighted entering Chase Center for maybe the first time in many years.
Who is played by YouTube comedian Dawson Gurley has become a discussion topic during recent ESPN broadcast and Steve Kerr media briefings? Kerr jokingly quipped, “I came back but I was thinking, ‘Klay, did you swallow some few extra burgers?'” To the pleasure of NBA fans, Fake Klay has appeared in everything from Championship games to ring ceremonies.

However, Warriors fans may not see False Klay Thompson again for a long time.
On Monday, 2 hours before tip-off, Gurley announced that he had been barred from Chase Center for the rest of his life. Has he really done it? Who knows what will happen. Prior to publishing, Chase Center administrators could not be reached to corroborate the prohibition. Gurley claims he was prohibited after walking alongside 5 levels of security personnel “who readily allowed me by protection with asking for ID,” following which he claims he “shot about for 10 minutes” on the court.
Gurley then tweeted what he claimed was the official letter. Which appeared to be signed by Chase Agency’s vice chairman of protection, Brian J. Herbert, which is really the name of the genuine Chase Centers’ vice chairman of protection.
Gurley appears to be firing about inside the arena in this photo. However, since we’re speaking about False Klay Thompson, the entire scenario could well be a hoax.
