Maxi Jazz Forms Faithless Group

The group Faithless was eventually created by him, producer/instrumentalist/DJ Rollo Armstrong, keyboardist/DJ Sister Bliss, and singer/songwriter Jamie Cotto. Records defined their 1996 debut album Reverence as “folk-house-hip-hop-blues-ambience-jazz-rap for the dance floor and sofa” due to the eclectic influences they drew from.

The band UB40, who they toured with, tweeted their condolences, saying, “A great person, again who has gone too young, but finally Maxi you can get some sleep.”

A combination of “melodic funk and blues, reggae beats, dub baselines, and Jamaican melodies,” as the band put it on their website. He was single and unmarried with his net worth at $8 million.
