Fairclough leads standings as ROKiT British F4 Championship heads to Snetterton for Round 3 of 2024 Season

The ROKiT British F4 Championship certified by the FIA returns to Snetterton this weekend for the third event of ten in the 2024 calendar

Twenty-two drivers will battle it out at the Norfolk circuit, a fortnight after the thrilling second round of the championship at Brands Hatch.

The Snetterton 300 configuration includes two long straights and 12 corners, providing plenty of passing opportunities as one of the most technically demanding circuits on the calendar.

Deagen Fairclough (Hitech Pulse-Eight) has so far won three of the five races held in the 2024 season, giving him a 39 and 58 point lead in the championship over the Rodin Motorsport pairing of James Higgins and Alex Ninovic respectively. Despite not being on the podium at Brands Hatch, it is James Higgins’ consistency in securing top 5 finishes which sees him second in the standings.

Ninovic and Fairclough shared the front row twice at Round 2 and battled it out across the weekend for the top spot on the podium.

Abbi Pulling (Rodin Motorsport), who created history at Brands Hatch, becoming the first female to win a round of the British F4 championship, and Mika Abrahams (Hitech Pulse-Eight) will also be looking to add to their win tally, as each driver has one to their name.

Rowan Campbell-Pilling (Phinsys by Argenti) is another driver who will be looking to return to the podium at Snetterton, after becoming the first rookie of the season to stand on the overall podium. His teammate Yuanpu Cui currently leads the Rookie Cup standings ahead of Chris Dittmann Racing’s Bart Harrison. Xcel Motorsport drivers Zack Scoular and August Raber made their first appearance on the rookie podium at Brands Hatch, with Scoular picking up his first Rookie Cup win on Sunday morning.

Fairclough, Abrahams and teammate Reza Seewooruthun (Hitech Pulse Eight) delivered Hitech their first 1-2-3 finish of the season, giving the team a boost in the Teams Cup’. They now have a 21-point lead over Rodin Motorsport with Phinsys by Argenti in third.
