What has Pepsi said about the rumors?

Notably, the shared image included a caption, which stated that Pepsi has altered its product design to showcase Palestinian culture. However, there has been no official statement from Pepsi Co. to confirm the aforementioned statement. The viral photo initially surfaced on a Facebook account called Digital Alfaaz, which both shared and created it.

However, upon further investigation, it was discovered that the image was not new. The Facebook page Dragon Studios had shared the product design as part of a campaign called the “Pepsi Taste Challenge” on August 16, 2023. During that campaign, Pepsi introduced new looks for two of its products, “Pepsi Cola” and “Pepsi Max,” as a token of appreciation to the 58 percent of Palestinian customers who preferred the taste of Pepsi.
