Although the match’s PPV share information has not yet been disclosed, it is assumed that both competitors will take close to 50% of the PPV share. Things began to escalate in the second-round after logically cautious beginning. As his nose was broken and he was twice rattled in the second-round, Wardley appeared to be in trouble. However, he stormed back and knocked Gorman down three times before Gorman’s corner threw in the towel.
With this victory, Wardley has become British Heavyweight champion and will likely make some title defenses before try his luck on European title.
