F1 along with Frontier Developments has announced the next F1 Manager game for 2022, know its price and release date
Frontier Developments will create F1 Manager 2022, and the company released a release trailer for the game on Monday 7th of March as part of the announcement. According to F1, it’s the first managerial game as part of a “long-term, multi-title deal,”. It’s the first formal excursion into the genre since EA Sports’ F1 Manager was published in 2000.
The announcement from Frontier on the game states the following:
“With decades of experience developing acclaimed management and simulation titles, the Frontier team has been working hard to create an authentic, detailed, thrilling, rewarding experience in F1 Manager 2022,”
“We want you to live the drama of Formula 1, where races are won and lost both on and off the track. Handle the day-to-day running of an F1 team, overseeing long-term strategies and making split-second decisions to guide your crew to victory.”

Players will take the role of team manager for one of the ten current teams and participate in a career mode, driving on official circuits and directing the day-to-day operations of the team for several years, including employing real-world drivers. “Unparalleled authenticity and broadcast-quality presentation” are promised in the game.
While a release date is not nailed on, it is set to happen in the summer of 2022 and could take place anywhere in June-August with the price set to come out as the launch date gets nearer. The game can be ordered on Steam.
Frontier’s first sports game will be F1 Manager, but the studio has previously worked on management simulation games such as Planet Coaster, Planet Zoo, and Jurassic World Evolutionary. This summer, F1 Manager 2022 will be available for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and Steam. The game will be the first game out the 4 planned between Formula1 and the gaming company of Frontier. Under their new licensing deal between the 2 to make sure there will be games until the year of 2025.
