The World Anti-Doping Agency a.k.a WADAin 2019  banned Russia from competing in international sporting events for four years after it was found that the country was found to run a years-long and state-sponsored doping scheme.

During the 2018 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, the Russian contingent passed the drug tests competed under the Olympic Athletes from Russia, the OAR delegation.

“All public displays of the organization’s participant name should use the acronym ‘ROC,’ not the full name ‘Russian Olympic Committee,” the IOC rules state.
