India is yet to win in the Super 4 Stage

On Tuesday, India recorded its second loss in a row after losing to Sri Lanka in the Super 4 stage of the 2022 Asia Cup. The six-time Asian title holders are now on the verge of being knocked out of the tournament.

Rohit Sharma’s brilliant knock of 72 off 41 went in vain and Sri Lanka produced a clinical performance to defeat India by six wickets. India puts a reliable total of 173/8 on the board. In pursuit, the Sri Lankan Batsmen batted smartly and outperformed the inexperienced bowling line of India. Kusal Mendi (57 from 37 balls), Pathum Nissanka (52 from 37 balls) helped the team to secure the six-wicket win.

Team India will now take on Afghanistan in its final Super 4 game of the tournament.
