We should teach them a lesson that Bollywood will never forget. They always insult Hindu gods and think that no one will say anything, no one will notice.

#Doobara doesn't even deserve a boycott call. Failures of feminists like @taapsee deserve applause.
BTW, when you are not hit but instead given a #Thappad in your language, it pains more! BYE BYE! https://t.co/rIt9VwGLN2— adot (@adot99160725) August 19, 2022

While the movie is getting positive attention from masses ahead of its release, a few had started a boycott trend for the film using a hashtag #Boycott Dobaara.
People are asking the audience to boycott the film completely and to fulfill the wishes of the actress and the director as the director Anurag and leading lady of the film Taapsee Pannu were urging to boycott the film.
Meanwhile sharing their views on growing cancel culture on social media, the duo requested the netizens to make their film trend by boycotting it.
In a recent interaction with Siddharth Kanan, Anurag Kashyap said, “I am feeling left out. Even I want ki meri film boycott karo…please make our film trend on Twitter by boycotting.”
Further adding to his statement, Taapsee Pannu also said, “Yes please boycott Dobaaraa trend karva do…we also want to trend on Twitter.”
In response to their requests, netizens have started calling for a complete boycott of the film, apparently wanting to teach them a lesson and show that boycott calls shouldn’t be taken lightly.
A upset netizen took to his Twitter to wrote his views on boycott as he penned down, “If anyone thought that #BoycottBollywood is just a social media trend on Twitter then you are so wrong.
No amount of trends can make Boycott successful if it doesn’t have ground support. How can you win against this #BoycottLalSinghChaddha #BoycottDobaara #ArjunKapoor,”.
Another one wrote, “They’re faking to be cool with the #BoycottBollywood but dying a million deaths internally. They were feeling left out & wanted to trend.”
Aside from Taapsee Pannu, the film also featured Rahul Bhatt, Saswata Chatterjee, Vidusshi Mehra, Sukant Goel, Nassar, Nidhi Singh and Madhurima Roy in important roles.
Dobaaraa movie is jointly produced by television queen Ektaa Kapoor’s Cult Movies, a new division under Balaji Telefilms, Sunir Kheterpal and Gaurav Bose’s banner Athena.
