Notably, due to violence against Hindus in Bangladesh, the Hindu Mahasbaha has threatened to protest against the visiting team in Kanpur. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is considering moving the match to Indore due to the current circumstances. Although there hasn’t been an official confirmation yet, sources close to the BCCI have told that such a move might be planned.

Numerous media sources have asserted that Hindus in Bangladesh are the victims of atrocities which has lead to several accounts on Twitter/X wanting the Indian government to call off the series and boycott cricket matches with Bangladesh in the future. Protests have been held in Bangladesh, and the Hindu Mahasabha has issued a strong warning as Bangladesh prepares to tour India for a cricket series.
Hindu Masabha had already objected to the India-Bangladesh Twenty20 International in Gwalior.
