Still remember how Aamir Khan insulted our Hindu Gods in his movies. But we will not tolerate them anymore, let's all boycott these heroes. As long as we do not boycott them, they will not be okay.#BoycottBollywood#AmirKhan#BoycottAliaBhatt#BoycottLaalSinghChaddha pic.twitter.com/7iLDBFyijT

Alia is co-producing this film with Bollywood’s King Shah Rukh Khan and his wife’s Red Chillies Entertainment.
Apart from Alia Bhatt, this movie also starred Vijay Verma, Shefali Shah and Roshan Matthew.
The boycotting outrage comes in wake of some scenes in the film where Alia Bhatt’s character can be seen torturing her on-screen husband Vijay Verma.
After seeing this scene, a Twitter user took to his Twitter account and penned down, “Everyone should #BoycottAliaBhatt for making a misandrist movie like Darlings. For bollywood, domestic violence on men is a matter of joke. Pathetic”.
Another user mentioned how Patriarchy is coming back. He wrote it’s like, “cancer and metastasizing in court judgements.”
He further wrote in another tweet of his, “Meanwhile Alia Bhatt produces and acts in #Darlings endorsing Assault on Domestic Violence on Husbands while the nation stays mum. This whole Victimhood is a charade”.
This outrage comes in just a day after the makers of “Darlings” launched a song from the film named ‘La llaj’.
During the music launch event, composer Vishal Bhardwaj, said that the film’s co-producer Shahrukh Khan, loved the track so much that he sang it to the composer over a phone call.
He said, “Shah Rukh called me one night around 12-12.30 am. He started singing the song on the phone.
He sang the entire song. Then he started narrating the meaning of it… He said ‘It would have been more fun had the song been for me’”.
