As we already know that in the 2022 Winter Olympics there will be a total of 109 medal events across the following 15 sports. But in addition to this, in the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics, seven new sports have been added which includes Women’s Mono bob, Men’s and Women’s Big Air (Freestyle Skiing), Mixed Team Snowboard Cross, Mixed Team Aerials, Mixed Team Short Track Relay, and Mixed Team Ski Jumping.

What Is The Big Air Skiing Event At The Winter Olympics 2022: Rules, Format, Scoring, Players
Big Air skiing made its debut in this years’ Winter Olympics. Snowboarding Big Air debuted in PyeongChang.
Participants of the sport will slide down a long ramp and go over one jump. Once in the air, they may do as many spins, flips, and twists as they can, then attempting to land without falling.
Scores will be given by a panel of judges. Both the highest as well as the lowest scores are thrown out for each run.
Venue Of The Event
Almost all of the skiing and snowboarding events will take place in the mountains, but China has built the Big Air Shougang which is located in the city of Beijing.
Players To Look Out For In The Event
In the ongoing Beijing Winter Olympics, Eileen Gu clinched the gold after her massive performance in the third run of the final of the women’s freestyle Big Air.
Another athlete to look out for is Ledeux, who hit back-to-back 90-plus point runs in the opening and she herself described as “speechless” post the event.
Other athletes to keep eye on are, the American Darian Stevens, along with the teammates Marin Hamill, Maggie Voisin, and Caroline Claire.
