Whether you’ve played Formula 1 games before or not, F1 22 is a whole new way to drive, know how to stop spinning in it
Even though the assist settings can be changed, turning some of them down can make it harder to win online races. This makes it hard to find your inner Lewis Hamilton, Max Verstappen, or Charles Leclerc.
Know How To Stop Spinning Out F1 22 Game And Control Settings
Racers are determined to be the first ones to cross the finish line before their competitors. But keeping the car in a straight line and stopping it from spinning out of corners has been hard for some players, especially as they try to get better at F1 and go faster.
How Do You Stop Spinning In F1 22?
The good news is that there is a way to stop spinning out that works. But this can be hard to figure out depending on how your assist settings are set up and how your car is set up on the track.
Here’s a short list of what we think are the best ways to stay on track in F1 22:
Traction Control In F1 22
In F1 22, players can try out three different settings for traction control (TC).
- Full
- Medium
- Off
If you’re new to Formula 1 games, the best thing to do is turn on full traction control. This will make it harder for you to spin out.
If you want more of a challenge, set TC to medium or off. This will make it more likely that the back of the car will want to switch sides with the front. This is likely to be more important in the future for people who want to drive faster or who are interested in sim racing.
Even though it’s hard, it’s not impossible! Not only could assists slow you down, but they also take away from the realistic feel of F1-22.
How To Drive In F1 22 Without Using Traction Control
We could write a paper about this. But we’re not going to make things too hard here. Keep scrolling down for a few quick tips on how to get the most out of your car when TC is not on.
Controlling the speed in F1 22
Do not hit the gas hard as soon as you come out of a turn. Instead, gently press down on the gas pedal slowly.
Again, when in low range, change gears early to get the most traction and avoid wheel spin. We call this “short shifting.”
Make sure that you only use full throttle when you are driving straight.
Car setups in F1 22
Presets from EA help, but it’s no secret that making your own car setups is faster than using the ones that come with the game. Here are some of the best ways to change parts of the car so it doesn’t spin out:
- Make sure you set a low (unlocked) on-throttle differential. This will make sure that the tyres spin at different speeds.
- Run your rear tyres at a lower pressure. This keeps them from getting too hot.
- Adding more aerodynamics to the rear wing will help when turning at high speeds.
- Make sure that your rear suspension is softer than your front suspension. This will help with bumps and holes.
- Change your rear camber to be more neutral. This makes sure that more of the tyre is in contact with the track, which improves grip.
We’re here! If you pay close attention to these tips, you should be able to keep all four tyres on the race track.
