Rizwan has been Averaging 50+in T20Is
The Pakistani opener has been in sublime touch in all formats lately. He along with his captain Babar Azam has been one of the most consistent batsmen in the world. Rizwan and Babar were bossing the ICC T20I rankings before Surykumar Yadav surpassed Rizwan. Rizwan has been dethroned from his 2nd position by Suryakumar Yadav after his match-winning 76 against the west indies.

Suryakumar Yadav is in the form of his life currently. He has been playing some eye catchy Innings lately in Internation cricket. On England’s tour, he scored a masterful ton which went in vain as India couldn’t win that game. SKY scored 76 in his previous game which won him 2nd position in the rankings.
Regardless of all the exceptional things which Suryakumar Yadav did in the last few series. Still, Mohammed Rizwan has been averaging 50+ in T20Is and has played more than double games in comparison to SKY. The only reason which might have been considered by ICC is the strike rate.
