Offset started making solo songs in 2022, but Takeoff and Quavo kept on performing as Migos. Although the cause of the breakup is still unknown, the Migos pair spoke about the controversy in October 2022 on the Big Facts podcast.
“I just think that since we came from a devoted family, we want to pursue our careers together. We’re supposed to stick together, but things don’t always turn out as planned. It’s not supposed to be,” Quavo replied.
He continued saying, “We just stand on loyalty, absolute deal loyalty. This has nothing to do with any label, paperwork, quality control, or anything else. It is what it is, and this has something to do with the three brothers. We will now work as a pair until further notice.”
