India won the series after beating Australia by six wickets
Last night, India defeated Australia by six wickets in the final game of the three-match t20i series. India won the toss and invited the visitors to bat first. Australia batting first puts a 186/7 on the board. Cameroon Green scored 52 off 21 while Tim David scored 54, were the highest run gatherers for Australia. Axar Patel took three wickets, while Bhuvneshvar Kumar, Yuzvendra Chahal and Harshal Patel managed to claim one wicket each.
India pursued the target with an extra ball to spare. Suryakumar Yadav played a brilliant knock of 69 off 36 balls while Virat Kohli scored 63 off 48 balls. For Australia, Daniel Sams took 2 wickets while Josh Hazelwood and Pat Cummins managed to take 1 wicket each. Surya Kumar Yadav was named the Man of the match.
India will now welcome South Africa for three T20i games before departing for Australia for the upcoming T20i World Cup.
