Asia Cup 2022 Super Four Format
The Asia Cup 2022 has six participating teams, which are divided into two groups: Group A and Group B. All the squads in each group will get a chance to play against each other in a league format to win points.
After all the matches have been played out, the top two teams from each group who score the highest points will qualify for the Super Four stage.
The Super Four stage will follow a format where all four teams battle it out against each other once. Thus, each team gets to play three matches. The top two teams at the end of this stage will see each other in the summit clash.
This particular format will offer a better chance for all the teams as compared to the T20 World Cup format. Often times, a few squads might have a bad day even though they have quality players, resulting in unfair eliminations.
