THE 6IXTY is a version of T10 cricket, but with significant changes.

Several of the qualities are as follows:

– Instead of 10 wickets, each batter has six. That is, the batting squad will be deemed all.

– There will be a floater shot on goal over that the batting team may ‘unlock’ after striking two sixes in the first two overs;

– As the name implies, there will be 60 permissible deliveries/10 overs every innings;

– From either end, the bowler’s team will toss 30 balloons straight. And the sessions should be finished in 45 minutes; If a side fails to complete its ten overs in the allotted time, an outfielder will be eliminated for the final six balls;

– And, through an app or website, users will determine when the mystery-free hit’ may be taken.

THE 6IXTY is the result of tight coordination with CPL and CWI, and it represents the way forward. “I am particularly enthusiastic about the creativity, excitement, and pleasure that it will offer to the fans,” Cricket West Indies Chairman Ricky Skerritt remarked.

The ninth edition of CPL will take place from August 30 to September 30. Barbados Royals, Guyana Amazon Warriors, Jamaica Tallawahs, St Kitts & Nevis Patriots, Saint Lucia Kings, and Trinbago Knight Riders are the six participating sides.

The reigning premiers are indeed St Kitts and Nevis Patriots.

The championship match will include the Barbados Royals, Guyana Amazon Warriors, & Trinbago Knight Riders through its inaugural season.
