Tony Nese has become the latest name in a lengthy pile to make the switch from WWE to AEW

Although AEW are yet to make it official, they have managed to get another name from WWE onto their side.

Tony Nese, ex-WWE Cruiserweight Champion was seen in attendance during the bygone edition of AEW. Daze Meltzer of Wrestling Observer has gone onto assert that his presence was indeed owing to him having come on board with AEW with the company set to release a Tony Ese is All Elite graphic in the impending time.

Tony Nese Becomes Latest WWE Superstar To Link Up With AEW

Nese has already worked a couple of matches of AEW Dark’s latest taping at Universal Studios as well after being cut by WWE earlier in the summer. He had worked for Create A Pro Wrestling and WrestlePro after being relived of his duties by WWE.

Nese joins Bryan Danielson, CM Punk, Malakai Black, Ruby Soho, Andrade El Idolo, Adam Cole and Bobby Fish in having made the switch from WWE to AEW. AEW’s commitment to emerging as a true challenger to WWE has seen the company up the ante over the last couple of months with the side snagging WWE talent amidst the widespread releases by the side.

“I certainly had aspirations for AEW to hit certain heights, but we’re further than I’ve ever dreamed. We’ve signed Bryan Danielson, CM Punk, Adam Cole and Sting all in a one-year period. We’ve added legendary names like Christian Cage and Matt Hardy, and stars of the present — Andrade El Idolo and Malakai Black–and the development of the women’s division, especially being joined by Ruby Soho and Thunder Rosa,” Tony Khan had said recently when talking about AEW’s gargantuan growth.
