Remarkably, he underwent three weeks of dialysis before obtaining a kidney transplant in 2009, following three years of waiting. Struggling with health concerns, he had encouraged Britons to register as organ donors following his experience with renal failure. “It hammers it home, since the transplant, that more and more people are desperate for kidneys,” Mr. Davis was quoted as saying in a 2009 interview.
The bodybuilder is survived by his partner Helen Burrows and their daughter.

When he won the Mr. Universe title in 1996, the man known by the nickname “Dinosaur” was at the pinnacle of his abilities. In addition, he won Mr. UK, Mr. Britain, Mr. Europe, and Mr. Pro Universe during his illustrious bodybuilding career.
Pro-bodybuilder Christian Figueiredo of Brazil passed away
Christian Figueiredo, a Brazilian bodybuilder, passed away at the age of 29 from a stroke that occurred during liver surgery. Vivi Torres, Figueiredo’s wife, posted the heartbreaking news on social media. The couple’s 11th anniversary was going to be celebrated.
Torres shared a video of herself and her late spouse and said she was finding it difficult to look at her husband’s memories. Bodybuilder Ricardo Alexandre Martins Correia was beside Figueiredo at the hospital.
Figueiredo has been training for the International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness in 2024, having obtained his pro bodybuilding card only a year before.
