Social media platforms has been buzzing non-stop with a viral controversy involving former Big Brother Naija famed Angel Smith, and her partner, Tumininu, after a chat between the couple got leaked online.

The alleged chat reveals Tumi aka Tumininu asking Angel if she truly wanted the married, to which the 26-year-old Nigerian television star replied that she didn’t know why she made the decision. In another picture, Tumi can be seen asking if Angel wants a divorce, meanwhile complaining about the lack of intimacy between the two.
The back-and-forth heated war between the two escalated to the point where Tumi publicly accused Angel of cheating on her, as she alleged that Angel joined a dating platform shortly after their marriage and was seen with other women.
In addition, Tumi also alleged that their marriage was rushed due to Angel’s immigration. Furthermore, Tumi alleged that she spent over $100,000 on Angel since her arrival in the U.S., including $50,000 on Angel’s birthday.

Following their dramatic split, Tumi released a public statement and demanded a refund of $40,000, in addition to the swift signing of their divorce papers.

To add fuel to the fire, Angel accused Tumi of using police connections to arrest her mother over a Mercedes-Benz, while adding that the car was a gift to her by Tumi. In addition, she begins posting on her Instagram hinting that she wasn’t one to mess with.
