Have a look at the new contract and salary of Evan Ferguson
The transfer value of the wonderkid striker, who is a potential target for Manchester United and Chelsea, has skyrocketed after signing a six-year contract.
The Seagulls have taken action to stifle inquiries from several major teams, including Manchester United, who expressed interest in the summer. The 19-year-old has advanced significantly under manager Roberto De Zerbi.
Haha love this from Evan Ferguson when asked why he’s so committed to representing Ireland and not England. “I’m Irish, there’s nothing else to say I’m Irish”🇮🇪☘️ pic.twitter.com/aEjypS8QB0

Evan Ferguson new Brighton contract details, salary, release clause and net worth in 2023
Additionally, he had no desire to leave The Amex to Big Six suitors during the summer. Compared to the April agreement, the new one is a year longer and lasts until 2029. Ferguson will receive a large pay increase as a result; his prior weekly salary was estimated to be around £20,000 per week. However, it’s not believed that the new agreement has a release clause. Brighton currently values their Irish talent at upwards of £100 million.
Evan has a net worth of $1-5 million at the moment.
De Zebri has nothing but praise about Ferguson
David Weir, technical director of the Seagulls, stated: “We are thrilled for Evan as he is a brilliant young talent. After making his team debut at the beginning of the year, he has demonstrated his ability at both the club and international levels. We are excited to work with him and follow his continued development.”
“Evan deserves this new contract and he has a very big future ahead of him,” stated manager Roberto De Zerbi.
What is next for Brighton and Ferguson?
The striker chose to relocate to Sussex over a Liverpool offer when he left Irish team Bohemians in January 2021 to join Brighton. With 30 Premier League games under his belt, Ferguson has netted 11 goals for Brighton. He has scored five goals in the Premier League this year—including a hat-trick against Newcastle—and follows fellow standout Kaoru Mitoma in signing a new deal.
Ferguson made his Premier League debut in February 2022 after joining Brighton in January 2021 from Irish team Bohemians. Later that year, he made his Carabao Cup debut against Cardiff. Having scored three goals in eight international appearances for his country since then, he has established himself as a rising star in the game and became the first player since Wayne Rooney to score ten Premier League goals in a calendar year while still a teenager.
Brighton hosts Sheffield United in the Premier League on Sunday at 2 p.m., in their final game before the international break.
