Over 300 breakers will compete for the titles of king and queen of Europe at the European Breaking Championships on Saturday, May 6 and Sunday, May 7.
Athletes can gain ranking points towards qualifying for the Olympics because the sport will make its debut in Paris in 2024 on the renowned Place de la Concorde.
32 breakers—16 B-Boys and 16 B-Girls—are competing for the first dancing medals at the Olympics.
Watch out for third-ranked athlete in the world and Italian B-Girl Anti, who finished second at the most recent European Championships.
Two Spanish B-Girls, Furia and Raw Law, will captain the Spanish squad as they compete to win the international championship in front of their home crowd.
Dany Dann visits Almeria after winning the Breaking for Gold Series in Rio. The current World No. 1 wants to keep going after winning the European championship. He’ll face off against B-Boy Kid Karam, who beat him in the final the year before.
B-Boy and lawyer Xak are the two people who will represent Spain, the host country, the best.
The B-Boy Lussy Sky and the Ukrainian B-Boy Kuzya are more potential contenders for the title.
