This yearโs competition in Germany will feature 51 matches featuring a list of 19 official referees.
UEFA announces list of officials ahead of Euro 2024
Just like Euro 2020, this yearโs competition will also feature a referee from South America as part of the โco-operation between UEFA and the South American Football Confederation (CONMEBOL)โ. This year, Argentinaโs Facundo Tello will represent CONMEBOL alongside his assistants Gabriel Chade and Ezequiel Brailovsky.
Notably, Oliver and Taylor have become the go-to English officials at major international tournaments. The pair have officiated several matches at Euro 2020 and the 2022 Qatar World Cup. Heading into the tournament, England, France, Germany, and Italy will have two referees at the Euros. Meanwhile, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey, and Argentina will each have one referee.
