Arsenal faced a tough challenge in their must-win match, initially falling behind to a deflected free-kick from Idrissa Gana Gueye, giving Everton the lead. Takehiro Tomiyasu equalized before halftime, and Kai Havertz scored a late winner. Despite Arsenal’s best efforts, it was not enough as City maintained their two-point lead at the top by defeating Westham.
In the points table, Tottenham Hotspur secured fifth place and a UEFA Europa League berth with a 3-0 win over Sheffield United. Chelsea held onto sixth place with a 2-1 home victory against AFC Bournemouth. Newcastle finished seventh after a 4-2 win at Brentford. Despite their 2-0 win at Brighton & Hove Albion, Manchester United’s eighth-place finish marked their lowest in Premier League history.

For winning the title, Manchester City will earn £62.3 million, while Arsenal, finishing second, will receive £59.1 million. The prize money decreases by approximately £3 million per position, with the third-place team getting £56 million and the fourth-place team receiving £52.9 million, and so on.

As per reports, each team will receive an equal domestic payment of £31 million. Additionally, clubs will earn around £63 million from overseas deals and £478,000 per position in the table, starting with the lowest figure for the 20th place. Considering all the TV money this year, Manchester City will receive over £143 million in total, while Arsenal will claim £141 million.
