Enes Kanter is a Turkish, now American basketball player who presently represents the Celtics. He is 2.11 metres tall and plays in the centre position. He is one of the NBA’s most successful and well-paid players.
Enes began his professional basketball career with the Fenerbahçe Ülker squad in Turkey, although he has also played for the Utah Jazz and Oklahoma City Thunder in the NBA.

Kanter’s mother, Mehmet, is a Trakya University histology professor who was born in Switzerland. He used to play basketball for his high school before moving to the United States in 2009. Enes Kanter’s basketball career began when he was only 14 years old. Enes played basketball for Stoneridge Preparatory School in Stoneridge, California, where he recorded 13 rebounds and 34 points in the Nike Hoop Summit. He announced his intention to play for the Washington Huskies in 2009, but eventually signed a contract with the Kentucky Wildcats.
He is one of the most successful basketball players in NBA history, while being only 25 years old. Enes Kanter, who spent the 2019-2020 season with the Celtics before being dealt to the Trail Blazers, returned to Boston.
According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, the 29-year-old centre had agreed to a one-year contract. Kanter’s contract is allegedly for $2.7 million, according to Boston Globe reporter Adam Himmelsbach.
