Dale also played the leader of a gang from the rival youth club Denton Burn for five seasons in the TV show Byker Grove. In the BBC show Breezeblock, he played Hips. He has been on tour in the UK with the show Chicago and has been in Love Never Dies on the West End.
He is set to portray Panda in the next season of George Gently, and he was the main character in an episode of ITV’s The Hunt for Raoul Moat that played last week.
