Friday’s quarterfinal round of the Korea Open will pit third seed Magda Linette against sixth seed Emma Raducanu.
Despite making it to the Top 10 in the WTA rankings, Raducanu has had a difficult season thus far, dropping to 80th after losing in the first round of the US Open. The sixth-seeded 19-year-old overcame Moyuka Uchijima 6-2, 6-4 in the opening round of the Korea Open. After that, she defeated Yanina Wickmayer 6-3, 7-5 to get to the quarterfinals.
